I checked all my ducks this is one of my girls and they all look the same as his.

I can imagine him being sore from all the swelling and the junk in there. Will ducks calm down if you cover their eyes, as with other animals? You can try wrapping him in a towel so he stays still and you can clean him out. Calm, quiet, patience, and go slowly.

Any luck with putting food in the bottom of the tub? A friend with him might put him at ease, but you'll have to add more food 

I'm gonna bring him and one of his favorite girls in this evening and put them in the tub with the peas and see how that works. He does not like being away from his girls at all when it's time for bed he goes in the house and stands at the door and calls for them it's so cute.
