puffy cheeks

Me again... just after some advice, my duckling is having a similar problem with puffy cheeks but he has clear fluid coming out of his nares as though he has a runny nose. He sneezes and i make sure he has clean water to dunk his head in, he reguarly sneezes into the water and dunks his head, his nares are clear. we have had him on tylan oral antibiotics for 8 days now and it seemed to go downa bit yesterday but now it intermittantly gets smaller and swells up again and now the other side of his face is looking slightly puffy, he is otherwise happy and eating and playing fine. he sometimes opens his beak and swallows or looks like he is trying to swallow but so far i dont think the tylan has worked. should i keep him on the tylan for a bit longer or take him back to the vet? any suggestions would be great, thank you!!!

I would get it looked at again - after 8 days, unless there is still something in there (back of the mouth, in the sinuses or ears), that ought to do it. Just my thoughts.

Should only need to use the tylan for 7 days but it does depend on what tylan there's 200 and 50 plus are you giving him enough??

It doesn't say if its Tylan 200 or 50 but we were advised to give him just less than a level teaspoon to every litre of water which is what we are giving them, they are getting through about a litre of drinking water a day. This is the side shot - hes closest to the camera
This is the front shot - Campbell is the one on the right.

This is Campbell today, it seems to have gone down a bit today, but it keeps flaring up again
Take your Tylan and put one drop of it in each nostils per day for a couple of days, see if that helps get the swelling down and keep it down. But only do it when he has Flared up. Right now I would say he looks fine to leave him..

I can't say he's dirty because he's VERY VERY CLEAN. LOL that's surprising to see for a duck.. LOL Does he go outside at all?
