I have a peahen with a puffy eye. Her eye is opened, not swollen shut but a very large puffed out area underneath her one eye. The area is kinda hard and eye seems to look very lubercated. I'm not sure how to explain it. It doesn't look like puss tho. Clear. She seems to be acting okay from what I can tell . She is Eating and drinking. Any suggestions?

It sounds like it may be from sinus infection. Hopefully someone with experience will answer.

She may have a cyst from a sinus infection; can you post a picture of her eye?

If that's your problem, you'll find a lot of info here about treatment; it seems to often involve surgery.
Why don't you browse these threads:

Good luck!

I had a peahen with the same thing, since it's hard I don't think you have any chance of draining it and you'll probably have to remove it. I think those other threads have good advice but if you have more questions I would be happy the answer them!!

Well I'm still at work. Left work early to get supplies, medicine, ect. When I get home ill take a picture to post so that I can get opinions for the best way to proceed. Thanks so much for all this help
