So I went to pick up two 2 year old Easter Egger hens today and brought them back home. Shortly after letting them out of the crate, they drank a lot of water. Then shortly after that, I noticed them both puke once. Initially, I figured they just drank too much water, but I decided to research it anyway. I read that if it isn't clear that it might be sour crop. Well, unfortunately, it wasn't clear. It was like a greenish brown, transparent liquid. However, the chickens don't seem lethargic or act sick or anything; They seem completely normal. Since then, I've noticed one of them puke one more time. They may have puked in the crate, too, because it smells absolutely ungodly.
Also, I noticed both hens have bald spots between their vent and tail, but have not seen lice on either of them. One of them has a bald spot above her tail, as well. But it wasn't noticeable until I started checking for lice.
The pen they came from had several other hens in it and so I think the bald spots may be due to over pecking from other hens.
Can you help me treat this, please? Thank you so much in advance!
