pullet/chick not walking, feet look "dead" graphic pics

What kind of bedding are you using? I know it sounds weird to ask, but cedar for example is toxic to chickens. I wonder if her feet came into contact with a toxin of some sort. It could be that she is more sensitive to something than the other chickens and that is why she is the only one reacting. When you showed the bottom of the feet, I didn't see any wounds that would suggest a staph infection from puncturing her foot or anything.

The poster of the pics on that website asked if it was posibly frostbite, so no definative answers. I do appreciate you searching that though

To answer your question about bedding, I use deep litter method, pine shavings.

I have looked up bumble foot, poor circulation and frost bite and haven't been able to come up with anything helpful. Still searching the world wide web for answers so that I know what the best course of treatment is (in addition to antibiotics).

Just had DH (MD) look at you pic. He says could be frost bite. The one foot looks swollen, the other, with the blackened area, looks dehydrated and probably more severely injured. Course, he's a people doctor, not a chickenologist, but I thought I'd ask his opinion.

Sue's right foot (on the left side of the pic) is not actually swollen. It looks puffier than her left foot because her left foot is so decrepid. We also placed her feet out flat to take the pics. I do value your husband's opinion even though he's a people MD.

This much I know.............. Sue's feet are discolored from lack of blood flow and look like her feet are dying. Is frostbite the cause of the lack of blood flow? It seems to be a common opinion.
I just want to rule out all posibilities and hear all points of view
