Pullet just drinking water and acting lethargic! Please help!

Update: Have been massaging her crop every hour. She pooped one more poop that was more like the others. She pooped this also which I think looks like coconut oil? Then later she pooped more that looked like this one. Her crop is definitely shrinking and doesn’t feel quite as tight. She also has been talking and walking a lot more. She’s still looking for food.🤪 So we’ll see!😬View attachment 2810482
That still looks like the stool of a bird that is backed up. Did you rule out her being Eggbound?

Update: She seems to be all better! She is yelling and wants to get out. She pooped this all solid poop. She still has a very tiny crop that is a bit hard but she is all perked up and back to normal. What should I do now?

Assuming it's empty, get some water into her then. She's going to be thirsty. Then turn to feeding her, but feed her soft food with some grit for at least tomorrow. We use a mix of Feed, Yogurt, Water, some Fried Egg, and about a 1/4 TSP of Coconut Oil. Mix it up into a moist paste, add some grit if you have it, and feed to her a little at a time, i.e. about a TBSP or less at a time, every hour if you can. Then, allow her some more water.

We don't want her to eat so much that she creates another blockage, and we want to make sure that she's processing food properly.

I'd still go with soft foods for at least today, maybe tomorrow. You want to be sure she's got the blockage cleared. The stools, though one looks good, the other tells me there's still a hint of an issue - could be passing the previously blocked stuff too though...

Let her out after you get a heaping TBSP of soft food into her (moistened Feed, Yogurt, Fried Eggs, Coconut Oil mixed together to a moist paste). She'll digest that more easily. I'd keep her away from dry feed today, however, and reassess at the end of the day/tomorrow morning for proper crop function. Proper = full crop at dusk, empty crop in the morning.

It does sound like she's turned the corner! :)

Okay! So do you think I should start out with water (for a little while) before or after she gets rid of her tiny crop?😉 She is cleaning herself!😁 Also I don’t have any yogurt should I just leave that out of my paste?

She just pooped this but is still acting normal! She just really wants something to eat and drink! So does it not matter that she has a very tiny crop? So I should just feed her and give her water? Also should I just be able to give her water all day and feed her every now and then or should I just give her water every now and then too?

Give her water first, then moist feed mix (Feed, Water, Fried Egg, and a bit of Coconut Oil), then a little more water. A little left in her crop should be ok when you start, but monitor that what she's eating today is actually getting digested (i.e. the crop will go down in size in the hours after she has eaten). If she were my bird, I'd feed her the moist mix every hour or two along with water, but not in large quantities. Don't let her eat so much that her crop gets really full. We want to make sure food is passing through her as it should.

The stools you're seeing I believe are the waste from the blockage, but checking that her crop is emptying (going down in size) before you feed her each time today is important. If it's going down, then feed her more. If not, we've got to back up and address the continued blockage.

She looks like she's doing fine - just don't want to see her get backed up again!
