Good luck! It can definitely be hard to part with them sometimes . In case you want to balance out the numbers more in the future, (and because chichen math is a thing and we're all addicted to chickens) look into Cream Legbars. They should be auto sexing, which means that you can tell male from female basically from a few days old. Plus, they lay blue eggs

I ordered silkies and bantam cochin from Ideal. Supposedly straight run because they don't sex their bantams. Out of 12 chicks, I got 2 girls.

I was told mine was pure, so I sexed her as a male. She was definitely not a rooster, and as she grew it became clear that she only had a Legbar mother.
