I have four pullets who are 18 weeks old. Three of them started laying last week. I’ve been getting 2-3 eggs each day and not worrying because I read it takes time for their system to “regulate”. Although for fun I’ll share a picture of one of them - I guess around 5am she had to lay but after laying just couldn’t move any further before going back to sleep, which is how I feel every damn day
(there are two ceramic eggs in each box).
The fourth pullet still hasn’t laid, is it normal for one to be behind? I keep checking to make sure she is having bowel movements and make sure stuff isn’t clogged up, and she seems happy, she’s scratching and dust bathing.
