We have two Lavender Orpingtons who are now three and a half weeks old. We're trying to work out whether we have pullets or cocks, we've attached some pics and would love to hear other peoples opinions!
Thanks everyone for your replies, it will be interesting to see how these two turn out! We got a dozen fertile eggs and put them in the incubator, but these were the only two that hatched. It doesn't really matter to us whether they are pullets or cocks as we are hoping to have a Orpington cockrel anyway.
at 4 weeks the tail and wing feathers are short on roos and long on hens...with out tail comparison its hard to say but the pic of the tail on the one sure looks roo..jeff
