Pullet or Cockerel?

I just got this 8week old Cochin Bantam yesterday. Do you guys think it’s a Pullet or Cockerel??

I'm gonna guess cockerel, just because of the size of the comb at that age :'(

@CochinTater loves Cochin... she’ll probably know. I’m gonna guess cockerel though, but it could possibly be a female.

My Cochin had a dig comb but no wattels, it turned out to be a she.

That looks like a girl to me. The comb is not that big nor is it very red. Cochins are pretty early maturing birds and I could tell with mine at like 4 weeks old. Much bigger comb and very red. @Overo Mare might know more though. And I could still be wrong.

Is it pure Cochin? I think I see a beard? Regardless, I'm leaning towards cockerel

That's a huge comb for an 8 week old BC. Even though it's still pale, I'm going with cockerel too.

I am going with a pullet because even though the comb is large its pale and she/he doesn't have waddles in yet.

I don't see wattles either which confuses me. It does have a bit of a beard it looks like. That could just be some funky chick down though. Also only about a 3rd of the feathers it should have on the feet. I wonder if it's not mixed and that's why the comb is so large.
