Hi,

I have two chicks who I need help finding out their gender. They are both serama mix. The bigger darker one is 12 weeks old and the smaller one is going to be 5 weeks old tomorrow.

Seramas don't have female specific colouring.

OP, these two are pullets.
Many feather patterns look different on the gender, such as partridge, duckwing, birchen, etc. The Serama breed has a lot of varieties since the main breeding focus tends to be on form and not color. The ABA does have a list of accepted colors for American Seramas but for Traditional or Malaysians it's not a requirement when showing.

Sorry I don't know about what the ABA says. I'm from the UK. Our seramas are Malaysian in origin as far as I'm aware and there are no standardised colours. Most I've seen (and bred) are random patterns and colourations that I've not see in other breeds. Also silkied ones which are my favourites!
