Pullet or Cockerels? RIR & Red SL

Hello! I have two I am unsure of gender for. Both have some roo tendencies, like their upright stance and long tails, but only the RIR has the pointed neck feathers..not sure if either really have true saddle feathers? I have orpingtons mostly so I am trying not to compare, but they just seem so much taller. Unsure of exact age, but (obviously) not laying yet.

Both look like pullets to me. If they were cockerels, I would expect to see saddle feathers by now.

Thanks! Nope, this is my first of these two breeds though. I was the teacher who hatched eggs for the kids and THEN realized they would need to go somewhere seven or eight years ago, and I have had some ever since. Usually get them from friends and family, and this was my first batch from TSC.
