Blurry photos... Makes it harder. But from what I can see...

Not a purebred, to judge by the traces of black in his feathering, but it's a male. In the top pic you can see male rump feathering and on the wings, across the shoulders and back, typical male 'fancy' feathering. If you compare his rump feathers and shoulder feathers with a known hen, you'll spot the fancy ones.

He's a rooster for sure. He has reddish coloring on the wings, a tall stance, and I think I see some pointy hackles developing. As Chooks4Life said, he might be a mix.
