Pullet or Roo?

Yes he does have tiny bumps growing on the legs. Maybe he wasn't the breeder but I think he was a middle man. He did say there was a 50/50 chance that it could be a roo. So now I think I have one too many roo's...

No offense hosspak but that "breeder" is full of crap. The whole point of a sex link bird is knowing the gender the moment they come out of that egg. The sex is linked to the color, thus the term sex link. I'd be on the phone getting a return and a pullet. A sex link hen should be mostly black, no white barring at all, with maybe some red at the throat and chest, depending on the breed of rooster used.

The entire point of SLs is that their gender is linked to their color, so you can immediately tell if they are boys or girls. The 'breeder' either doesn't know what he's doing, or he's shady and straight up made a bad deal.

You have a 50/50 chance (well a 50/50 chance at guessing right. I think there is a slightly larger number hatched of one sex.) NORMALLY. With a sex link, their sex is linked to their color. I'd be a whole lot of angry!
