Pullet or Roo?

I had a young cockerel that started trying to crow at 4 weeks. No other roosters for miles. Guess it depends on the individual.

Absolutely, they can start anytime. I meant to say the majority seem to have began trying to crow by 12 weeks.

Looks like a pullet to me, but I could be wrong.

Looking girly. You will be able to tell 100% in the next few weeks. Watch the saddle feathers. If they grow pointy, it's a boy. If they grow rounded it's a girl.
