Pullet or Rooster?

Odd, this is a rare time I may have to disagree with you. The hackles look nice and rounded, it's 21 weeks and I don't see a single male feather in sight. The red comb could be cause by getting closer to POL, 21 weeks isn't unheard of for that.

Just because it's saddles haven't developed doesn't mean it's not male.
I don't see anything but a boy. Though you're right that I can't be 100%.

I do make errors. For the OP's sake I sure hope this is one. I just saw a boy here, and can't unsee him.
OP, are you sure it's crowing? That's another thing - I have a (egg laying) SS girl that makes loud, lamenting cackling zombie screeches early in the morning. To first-timers, it may sound like crowing.

Hmmm.... I personally (besides the crowing) don't see anything pointing male.

I'll be watching to see where this goes. She looks 100% like a pullet to me but if she isn't laying and is crowing... I'm still leaning towards pullet but i'm probably biased cause my rooster was an early bloomer, so everything looks like a pullet compared to him when he was that age.
