Hello everyone. My wife and I got some baby chicks on St. patty’s day and then maybe a few more a couple of days later for a total of 8. Now 3 months later they are quite big and doing well. The coop is mostly built and they are in it but there is still more to do on the outside. Anyway. 7 of them were pullet sand one was a straight run. One on the the sexed pullets (buff Orpington) I am starting to question wether it is a hen or roo. She seems to be getting some pretty good wattles with some brighter red. The straight run which I think is a golden polish is a hen I think. I thought I would ask you guys since I’m sure you all know better than me. Any help would be great!

I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure it is a hen. My chickens are around the same age and our roosters wattles and comb are much bigger then that. Sometimes hens just have bigger/darker combs and wattles then others

Thank everyone! That what I was thinking too but thought I would ask bc of the wattles. The polish I’m thinking is a hen too but that was more bc of behavior. She just kinda hangs out. Stays out of everyone’s way lol. The BO is always involved in everything. Top of the peaking order for sure. Thank again!
