Pullet? pea comb 14 weeks

I originally dismissed the red in the shoulders because you said dad was part Black Copper Maran. Then I remembered that any bird with BCM heritage is going to show red in the shoulders if it is male.

The tail I honestly couldn't decide with.

The red leakage in the shoulder is dead give away that the bird is a male.

I got this girl as an EE, supposedly out of a blue egg from a legbar hybrid and dad is half Marans/half green layer, at 8 weeks. She is my first pea comb so I am completely unfamiliar with their development rate. But now at almost 14 weeks she is much redder and waddlely-er than the other girls (single combs). Oh, he's a boy alright and a big one!! I'll try to find old pictures for you and I'll try to get some recent pictures tonight.
