Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow

We have a Coop Forum with tons of coops our members built. Many have materials lists and step-by-step instructions too!

After you've got the coop figured out, then check out our Learning Center that's full of helpful tricks and tips about raising chicks and chickens, as well as other poultry.
Hi again, would old wood pellets
( crumbling, closer to sawdust) be suitable for coop litter?
There are 6-8 bags in the open 8X12 shed I will be creating the coop from. Thanks!

We use horse bedding pellets that, after months will eventually turn to sawdust. This type of sawdust it makes is dust free. I think the amt of dust would matter, but the sawdust still absorbs...just not as good as the whole pellets do.

I would try it as I'd love to make use of it if we had that. I'd also want some around my trees and bushes too! :)
