Hi,

We have a pullet with cuts on her foot. I thought Bactine would be good to use, but didn't find out till afterwards that you're not supposed to use anything that has "-caine" in it. We soaked the foot in epsom salts and hot water and then sprayed with "Poultry Wound Spray", it is still swollen but is healing. Should I use poultry antibiotics or will it heal on its own now?

Thank you for your help,

Tom

Not sure about this, but I just got some blue spray from TSH and it seems to be a good anti-fungal, anti-biotic.

Good luck, hope she is recovering.

Do you have any pictures?

Sounds like you're doing well with helping them heal. I would suggest just making sure there is lost of "cushioning" under perches to help keep them from breaking open when jumping down.

Thank you both for your help
