For me the sulfur colored poop of your pullet made the distinction. But you could send it in anyway, just to be sure.

Edit: And she was a bit too young to be that sick from Avian TB.

Have Safeguard, but how do I go about treating the whole flock? I have about 20 of these chicks, but nearby I also have about 50 or so hens. I'd like to eventually worm them too?

That's what I would advise. And all other animals too.

And don't forget to desinfect your barn boots too as you might otherwise just transfer infected wormeggs to your newly dewormed flock .

With that many I think you should get a bottle of Valbazen. How much do your 70 birds weigh? Just take a guess.

Ooh, I'd probably average out about 5lbs per bird? The chicks aren't nearly that heavy, but I do have some heavier breeds and roosters in the main area.

That is true, but one might just reduce the exposure.

An average works.

Valbazen
Weight of flock in pounds, divide by 2.2, times 20, divide by 113.6 = the number of ml you need.

So lets say you have 50 @5 pounds
50 /2.2 x 20 /113.6 = 4 ml

Now make a crumble mash with enough food for all 50 to fill their crops.

1. Fill the bucket with crumbles
2. Mix your 4 ml with a quart or half gallon of water
3. Stir well
4. Add medicated water to crumbles and stir well
5. Add more water until you get the consistency just right.
6. Stir really well
7. Feed flock

Does that make sense?

Hers are very small, I don't have a knife sharp enough to open it with precision and make it a clean cut. I did pop out a bit of it, and its brown and thick
