We have four chicks that were hatched out by a couple of our hens. Three of them (the black one and what I suspect are two cockerels) are 13 weeks old. The one with the crest on her (?) head is about 15 weeks old.
The golden colored ones are Cochin-Crested Cream Legbar mixes and the black one is a Maran mix.
We suspect the black one and the crested one are pullets and the other two are cockerels but I'm not sure. Also, is it unusual to see a black comb? Will it change with maturity?
Some input would be much appreciated. Thanks!
