A couple of my 18-week pullets like to go to roost on the nestbox dividers instead of the perches and I have to move them every night. The easiest way has been to stick my finger up there to force them to step onto it instead of staying on the narrow piece of board -- just like I used to pick up my cockatiels.
Unlike the ones who flap and complain when I pull them out of the boxes with my hands around their wings or with my hands under their keels and on their backs, the two parrot pullets sit calmly on my hand and are easily transferred to the roost.
