Pullets?

Are my 2 favorite birds girls? They are 6-7 week old bantam cochins. The white one was slower to feather & squares up with our wyandotte pretty often. They both have some redness coming in on their wattles but wattles aren't droopy yet.

Awesome, so the wattles getting some color is age appropriate? Y'all think my white one is just trying to be head hen since her and the wyandotte are at it pretty often?

Chicks and mature chickens of either gender will flare up and have vigorous discussions about who is boss of what at that very moment. Make sure you have enough space for the submissive one to get out of the way and seek shelter.
