It turned out as another false pregnancy. She’s been having worse hormonal issues and the vet’s are still recommending at least one litter of pups to try and solve it, so we will be breeding when she comes back into heat

Are these thyroid issues, by any chance?

Please, keep in mind that breeding a dog that is having health problems at such a young age already will result in more dogs with health problems, as at least some of her offspring will probably inherit the issues.

I'd really like to know also. I've never heard of a vet encouraging someone to breed.

It might depend on the type of vet. I can see why a holistic vet may encourage breeding, but I'm not sure. I'm no holistic vet though, so I wouldn't know.
