Purchased chicken feed with worm

I just purchased a 10-lb bag of Premium Chicken Feed. Trying to feed what's best for the chickens as I'm still learning. Anyway, the bag had bugs in them (worm-like), like maggots and the feed itself was webby.
Should I return it? Is this good for the chickens to eat? I think the bag may have been sitting awhile in the feed store.
Just purchased this bag yesterday and opened it this morning.

It probably wouldnt hurt the chickens to eat the worms, but mold could harm them.

I'd take it back for a fresher bag

I would return it. You paid for the fresh feed your chickens deserve and that is what you should have. I would not run the risk anyway.

Yes, I think I'm going to return it. Don't know how old the bag is - better safe than sorry. Thank you.

I would return it and get another bag. You may want to check it out before you buy it to make sure it is ok and not from the same batch.

Sounds like Indian meal moths. They are a delicacy for chickens. Don't go back to the store. They might try to make you pay extra for the "treats" for your chickens. LOL!
