Have not read everything!!!
but, wanted to share why I order from certain hatcheries!

I ordered from (4years) Meyershatchery.com has a GREAT catalog which tells you the size egg each breed lays & their Disposition ((web site not good)) (they don't have as many breeds as Ideal) their chickens are healthy & bigger than what I have gotten from any other hatchery!

This year I ordered Golden Buff sex-links to give to people when buying a tractor from us!

Ideals catalog does this also but, not for every breed or bantams!

This year first time I ordered from Cackle (coming 22nd) because you don't have to buy a certain amount of turkeys! they will ship turkeys & chickens together (not bantams) So I have 5 Palms coming!

Alrighty, I'm going to give a few things that I can see need to be changed.

1. The price lists and information. There's just too much of it. It needs to be "boxed" or at least separated from each other. I can see the different areas, but it's difficult to read when you're just glancing through.

2. Why are some things bolded in orange and others are not?

3. On the turkey's page, you need to put "intentionally" not "intently."

4. On the Guinea page, move the picture of the Pearl Guinea into the Pearl Guinea area rather than in the white guinea area.

5. On the Ornamentals, are the prices per bird or per crate, or well..whatever.

6. Pictures, pictures, PICTURES!!!

The other thing has already been said. If you could at least make the verses smaller on the page, it would not detract so much from your business. You don't need to remove them, just put them at the bottom so people can see them. You might also want to select verses that actually pertain to your product.

The niche no one seems to occupy is catering to the "boutique" small order crowd. In my community, interest in having 3-4 backyard chickens is exploding to the point that the local feed stores are continually sold out of chicks. I've been searching online, but cannot seem to find anyplace that a) will ship a small order and b) has a wide availability of chicken breeds.

I'd be willing to pay $15 a bird (not saying everyone would, but I would) in order to get the breeds I want, all pullets, shipped within my time frame. I understand that the minimum is about safety and health for the birds, not just $$, but seems to me you could charge a premium for small orders and come up with a shipping configuration that would keep the birds safe. Easy for me to say, of course...

You could use those heating pads for orders less than 15 chicks. Some of us dont have that luxury of ordering more than 3 to 5 chicks at a time.
MyPetChicken and Meyers do small orders.

Contrary to what it seems everyone else is saying here, I applaud your use of the Scripture verses on your website. It appears that you and I both know that it is our Sovereign God that will make or break your business and not whether or not you proclaim the truth.

In this day and age when so many folks think that "religion" is the same as "faith", and also many who believe that you can have your religion but just keep it to yourself or keep it for church on Sunday's - it is abundantly refreshing to find someone that knows and understands a true Christian cannot separate themself from Christ in any manner whatsoever. If Christ is truly the Lord of your life, then He is also Lord of your business life as well.

Those who think that you're being too "pushy" and turning folks off from the Gospel, simply don't understand that it is the Holy Spirit that does the work and nothing we do or don't do detracts from that. Jesus Christ met with anybody, any time, any place - BUT He never stopped being Who He was and is.

Those of whom are ashamed of Christ and deny Him now, He will deny "on that day".

Lastly let me just thank you for your post. It is quite interesting to see the opposing spiritual forces at work!
