My hubby was iffy about me getting pigeons agan, but I told him that if I could feed them Purina Flock Raiser, it would work out becouse so can my chickens.
I told him that they need grit and oyster shell just like the chickens, so I told him its just like them being flying chickens, lol. I'll come up with any reason to get pigeons again

yes its very good feed. Not too expensive. Doesn't have a lot of additives to it. i think you said you had rabbits with your chickens right? Keep it where they can't get to it, because its very high in protien and can trigger some massive eneritus. I think its around 21%. The pigeons can also have scratch grain mixed with it too. I have learned they need a feed that is very high in protien though. Look at the babies thread I posted and you can see the condition this stuff puts on them.
Also, one more thing i do is add pro bios, and vitamins and minerals to the water. I use aqualyte and acid pak 4 way from bunnyrabbit.com. the vitamins come in a big bottle. They last fore ever. Acid pak you tend to go through more of. My birds, and rabbits love it. Smells like vanilla when you open it up. Also helps prevent e coli, and keeps their digestive system in check. Sometimes you can find it rabbit shows for cheaper, and you don't have to pay the shipping. Otherwsie both are well worth what you pay for them. I think fast tracks may also work. You can find that at tsctractor supply.
