Purina Show Chow safe for geese?

on Purina they are supposed to be on the bottom of the bag.

Sometimes they screw up and don't have it.

I think it I had a free bag of that I would toss it to them and the wild birds as a treat.

Yeah, the guy gave it to me because it was starting to sprout in the bag apparently. I was going to use it as a main food source, sprouted and dry. He said he was bringing a five gallon bucket of rye. That doesn't look like a five gallon bucket, and it has a bunch of stuff in it that's not rye. He said he's been giving it to his chickens and goats.

So, I made a really dumb mistake. I sent him a message this morning about the feed and he just now wrote back. Apparently, he cut all of that rye last fall and has had it stored in a big tube. It's not Purina Show Chow. He just grabbed that bag and scooped it in. Wow. I feel so dumb. Sorry for all of that.
