In my experience only, I have a leghorn whose comb has always fluctuated between normal and a purple color that is concerning.
I know that one day, she may have a serious problem from this, but she’s two now and no aign of a problem.
I think the important thing is to watch for other symptoms. Make sure it behaves normally, eats and drinks, actively participates in the routine.
