@Jrowley35 I do still have eggs available, the next shipping date is 5/14 and the last shipping date is 5/21.
During laying season we give them a 30% protein game bird chow, extra vitamin E, B-complete, calcium (lots of kale, lots of dandelion greens/flowers, chopped broccoli, a little oyster shell), and omega, although to get them we use water mix-ins that have other vitamins as well. Out of laying season, we still give them a 20% protein chow, plenty of kale and other dark leafy greens, and mix poultry multi-vitamins in their water. A lot goes into the boys making that big, beautiful train every year, and the ladies need vitamin E, B, omega, and calcium to prevent chicks with muscular/skeletal issues like twisted toes and promote mental development. We did consult with an excellent avian vet (Dr. Orosz in Toledo) on what to supply the parent birds and why, and I've seen a marked improvement in the quality of the chicks from this year compared to last year.
