Here's a picture of the tail of a purple peacock I hatched from eggs from Deerman. He'll be two this spring.

Do purple peafowl's train feathers fade a lot as the year progresses? Purple is my favorite color but not really my favorite peafowl color, although I have never seen a purple peafowl in person only in photos.

Looking for 2 India Blue peahens. Have two blue males who are wooing the chickens. Having a hard time finding anyone with peahens in our area for sale (Western NY State). Anyone in nearby states, Ohio or Pennsylvania (or Western NY) who have two to sell? Our boys roam a fenced backyard/pond area with our ducks, geese & hens but stay in a heated greenhouse for the winter - life is good!
