Purple question.......

Don't laugh at me. I am dumb as a door nail sometimes.
I have got a barred wing purple hen coming up on 2 years old. Her mother is IB barred wing and her dad is a purple BS. Duh, me!

I tell ya, I got to get my head more into my peafowl and away from my chickens!
Though in all actuality, I was asking more because I had not ever seen photos of barred wing purples and just wondered. I see plenty of IB barred wing and BS but had not ever remembered seeing purple in barred wing so I came to you wise folks to ask.

And to make matters worse, I have a Purple peahen chick growing up that is BS from my other breeding pen. Just overlook how absolutely crazy I am lately. It is fall. My brain is thrilled with cooler weather and not many smarts.

And no, I do not want barred wing purple peacocks, just the BS. I was just asking.
Thank you all for your wonderful help!

I did not search so forgive me but I have been pondering this for a while and knew you all have way more experience than I do so please answer for me.....
Purples... can they come in barred wing or do they always come in solid (bs) pattern?
If they always do, then why is that?

Purples are one of those subjective colors that are either nice or bad and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We received this Spalding BS Purple pair from Spring Creek Peafowl, KS (@KsKingBee) a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier with the additions. They are very healthy, tall and most of all, we really like them. Meeting KSKingbee and KSQueenBee was truly an honor and we are proud to sport their brand at our place, they are very good people indeed,

I do love the purple! But I am not a spalding fan so I won't own any of those. Yours are very elegant. I know you will enjoy them but they are just not for me.
