Howdy all! I was putting the birds up for bed and noticed some droppings with pink urates on their dropping board. (The droppings were all normal in shape so I won't post a pic.) I panicked at first but doing some research the internet proclaimed that pinkish urates were normal! No Corid dosing for me!! Yay!! So, could someone explain the purpose, (or the cause) of pink urates? Just curious! Have a nice day everyone!

Purple cabbage. Blue berries. Carrots. Beets. Iron in the soil. These tint normal poop pink or purple.

Coccidiosis sometimes causes ruby red blood clots in poop, and the poop is diarrhea not normal hard nuggets.
