wallet (includes DL, Animal Hospital card for bird emergencies, ASPCA card for them to notify someone to take care of my critters if I'm in an accident or incapacitated, auto ins. card, motor club card, Red Cross blood donor ID card, health ins. & dental cards, AARP card [first one ever!], Sam's Club card, credit union debit card, other credit union debit card, and 3 $20 bills I've got squirreled away in hiding slots), four $1 bills, 7 shopper disc. card tabs on my wallet key ring, REST of the purse: glasses, honest to goodness handkerchief, checkbook, byetta pen, insulin pen, glucose test kit, various receipts & scraps of paper, pill case with 6 vials of various pills, emery board, folding fan, hair pick for my permed hair, 2 tins of mints, cell phone, hand sanitizer, Rolaids soft chews, laser pointer, ear plugs, American flag pin, expired coupons, and a Walmart check I need to shred (since they hand the checks back to the buyer now; just one more thing to remember to shred...) and this is after a fairly recent clean-out...

Wow, after reading this thread and looking in my purse, I realized I really need to clean out my purse.

Checkbooks (4), wallet, change purse, soft lips lip balm, 3 diapers, a small pack of wipes (I'm a mom

), a pack of Trident, a sewing kit, my reading glasses, my Grandfather's Zippo lighter (kind of a good luck thing), a Go Diego Go figure, a Polly Pocket shoe, 4 pens, a store list tablet, my smokes, 4 lighters, a bottle of ibuprofen, a bottle of Visene, my allergy tablets, a wad of old receipts, a white lucky stone, coupons, a pair of nail clippers, a pair of tweezers, tampons, a trial size deodorant, and a pack of Scooby Doo bandaids.

Found a shotgun shell. NO idea how that got in there.

Also, $9.84 in loose change. No wonder my purse was so heavy.

I have a 20" 9" 11" purse. In it I have meticulously organized my:
datebook
wallet
change purse
a few books for reading
MP3 player
camera
mints
gum
keys
pen case
makeup case
at least three tubs lip gloss
lipstick
powder
concealer
bobby pins
hair bands
comb
nail file
toothbrush
toothpaste
floss
mouthwash
hand cream
bottle of water
pepper spray
my knitting
dog leash
dog jacket
dog ball
dog treats


and for emergencies, a toiletry bag with
hairspray
tampons
extra lip gloss
extra hand cream
benadryl
pain killers
etc.....

Also, I have a backup bag in my trunk in case I get stuck overnight somewhere.

I know...I am crazy, but at least I am prepared for anything
