This is our Australorp hen Percy. One day I noticed these pustules on her face, and I do not exactly know how they came to be there. She behaves in a perfectly normal manner, she has been eating enough, there are no signs of trauma or other damage to her, her poop has been normal, and all in all she has been a vigorous and healthy chicken. These photos were taken 5 days ago, on the 8th of November. Around this time, our chickens were stressed out, and a couple of incidents happened which I think are worth mentioning. On the 4th of November, we had to go somewhere to deal with a personal matter, and we did not come back to the house soon enough. By the time we got back it was already dark, and the chickens were in their run and they were pacing a lot, and were very stressed. We did our best then put them to bed so they could calm down. On a weekend either right before or after this, someone began to mow their lawn (we live in a suburb and have our chickens in a run in the backyard), and by the time we noticed, they had already began to panic. We came out quickly to let them out, an just before we could they jumped against the wire of the run.
