Putting ACV in chicks' water

Hi! I have never had chickens before and I have read a lot on how apple cider vinegar is good for your chickens. I am going to a farm supply store tomorrow to buy 3–4 chicks and was wondering how much apple cider vinegar to put in your chicks' water and also if you have to give them less when they are younger.

It's very important to use organic ACV with the living mother in it :) it will look like stuff is floating in the bottom of the jar. I like the brand Bragg's. I use 1tsp per 1 gal.

In my small quart size chick waterers, I do about half a cap full.
 
Just to add my experience, I put a capful in the same size waterer. No I’ll effects and no more pasty butt, either. Heinz and Kroger/Simple Truth both also sell ACV with mother; both are cheaper than Bragg’s where I’m at.
