Putting eggs in the bator on July 25, does anyone wanna hatch along???

My chickens tried to eat all of my tomatoes this year. I had to fence my garden and it works fine but they still try to get in.

Chickens are funny!!! I caught mine stealing our bell peppers once, they never went back though. I think those pesky deer showed them where to find it. Its kind of funny when the deer come in my yard my chickens will hang out with them like they are all the best of friends.

Due the 18th and thats when I get judged on my silkie for fair!!!

Im soooooo scared!!!! What if they hatch Wi'll Im gone!!!! Oh NO!!!

Well I learned my lesson today. My broody came off of the nest and I quickly grabbed the eggs to candle them. They all looked good but as I was taking the 6th egg off of the candler, I dropped and busted it.

I won't be candling them anymore and I'll just let my broody take care of them. She obviously takes better care of them than me.

Oh I am sooooo sorry!!!!!!!!! Was there a baby inside? I have done that once it is tough.

You know now that I think about it when I did that was with my one broody hatch. I think when we are trying to check them when they are under a broody we try to hurry and accidents happen.
