Putting my ducklings in an outside pin

so I have pin and I got some toys for my little ones they can't stay out yet it's not warm enough and they are too young but we have been letting them out a little each day. Our pin will be 20by20 we are waiting for the rest of it. We are going to build our duckling house from pallets. I just love them!

Will you be covering the top of run with some netting to prevent flying raptors access?
