Putting quail in fish tanks?

I heard putting quail in fish tanks is bad? How true is this? I'm thinking like a 20 or 30 gallon tank for maybe 3-5 quail. Thanks so much!

I've seen it done before with no adverse effects. Of course you'd want to make sure there's adequate ventilation and all that. Should be nothing wrong with repurposing an old aquarium... right now mine are staying in a large plastic tub

I won't be able to help you with the measurements, unfortunately. Being Australian I have no idea how large/small a gallon is.

What kind of quail? I've had button quail raise chicks in a ten gallon aquarium here in the classroom. I know of no reason why quail can't be in an aquarium as long as it is well ventilated, clean, dry, and large enough to give the birds ample room to move around.
