Putting up at night

No I don't want to put you to all that trouble, I think I get the idea now. I really do appreciate the offer though. If I get ready to do it and have any problem I will holler at you though, but it looks pretty easy. Ok nothing will be easy but you know what I mean.

I wrap my ducks in a towel, pull out the wing I'm going to trim and trim, makes it so much easier to have them wrapped up.

I never have any spare towels around. The kids hide them all...so the kids get to hold the birds

Thats a great idea...the towel. I was thinking about wearing elbow high leather gloves for one of mine...lol. He really don't like to be held at all. I'm going to have to build another door and thing will be so much easier on me. George my pekin don't really like the mallards in her pen so we had to separate them. The mallard have to be put over the wire separating them right now. It was suppose to be temporary but it's taking longer then I thought. I was in a car wreck with my carpenter so things are at a stand still.

Sorry to hear about your car accident, hope you both recover without problems. I have plenty of towels that are old and have Blue kote on them those are my duck and chicken towels.

If I don't get better soon I will have to get a goose so I can hop over there with a few questions to give the duck forum a break...lol. Omg they better hope I don't get one because I know less about geese then ducks. No one in this area sells geese so your lucky. All my towels are getting old..what is a kote towel?

I did get out to the pen and sort of fixed it so they can get in and out easier. My son just herded them in to the pen it was so easy. They just walked right along in front of him just like they knew where they were going. I think my grand daughter was sort of getting them excited she stayed in the house since she was mad at one of them for scratching her. She loves to hold them and put them in the pool, but only one will cooperate. It's funny they never get in the pool unless you put them in. They get out when they want and will get back in when they want to but if you just walk them around to the pool they just ignore it. Thats how she got scratched trying to get them to swim. She has been picking them up since we got them, but it's only been getting more difficult lately.
