Pyle Brahmas

Depends what you consider "pyle".
I believe in brahmas they're calling splash partridge pyle, right?

I believe so yes. Specifically I’m interested in the lemon Pyle variety.

Splash & pyle are not the same thing genetically speaking, although I see a lot of ppl calling splash 'Pyle'in the US. That's because brahmas do not have wild type coloring, so ppl use partridge.

Pyle is supposed to be dominate white on wild type.
So im not a fan of using splash instead of dominate white more so then using partridge instead of duckwing.

There is no "wild type" Brahma. you would have to go out of the breed. Which you may have to do. Are there wild type Cochins? Doubtful since Brahmas & Cochins are genetically similar.

there are some people breeding Pyles with Splash or Dun Splash,(I^d/I^d) because homozygous dominant white will dilute the red coloration to a faded gold, and the "Red Pyle" look will be diminished(Pyle zone colored in red with white body contrast)
