Pyxis' Emu Chat Thread

Pics
At least I'll know on my AC eggs tonight, lol. So that's something at least!

Speaking of which, I better come up with some sort of hatcher because these emus might still own my Brinsea in a couple days when the ko shamos lock down.
SQUEEEE in all of the emu excitement I forgot about your ko shamos! That's SO exciting! Keep this up and you are gonna need a cabinet :p

Thank you, these are from a very dear friend and I'm so anxious over them..:fl

I bet they're gonna do great for you!

Ohhh, can't wait! let us know on the ACs?:fl:pop

Will do! I don't know if they froze or not before I got to them so it's a toss up.

I could get myself in so much trouble with a cabinet.

I just saw an Emu egg add with this picture:

What's up with the light colored one?

What is a Ko Shamos?

I breed ko shamo chickens :) They're an oriental game bantam breed and I love the heck out of them. My pair produced their first few eggs a little bit ago and they went right into my incubator. The rooster in my avatar is my stag.

The shell is missing the outer layers. It happens from time to time, most of the time you can't get them to hatch.

Here's another one like that:

Those are so neat. Had no idea they can be missing the outer layer. Do other eggs do that too?
