There aren't a ton of pictures of blonde adults out there, but here's one:

Lol, you're right, the color names aren't often what we actually picture when we hear the color. And I don't think I would consider blonde emus to actually look blonde, or at least not the color of blonde hair in humans or dogs.

I'm not sure - there really don't seem to be a lot of pictures out there of juvenile blondes. I'm gonna fix that, lol. I think the head markings might go away, but the patterning on their back might remain until they get their adult feathers. Might even remain then, I don't know. There just don't seem to be a lot of pictures out there.

Its hard to see all the differences from that view. Is there much difference in size? Are you sending shells for gender test?
