Many of the fish in Lake Malowai are mouth brooders... Tilapia come from there. And why I want to raise them for food.

That's really interesting, I've never seen that before. Looks like she kind of vacuums them right in!

Yuppers .. cichlids are awesome. I've kept them for years. Current stock are all males, but I have had plenty of babies in my tank.

Just the one egg left, egg C. Still wiggling when whistled to. If it hatches on day 50, that would be next Thursday.

We also kept African cichlids for many years. They are fascinating and beautiful. Yup had babies here too.
