And, the DNA results are in! 22 is...a boy! Time for me to start thinking up a real name for him, lol.

Everyone think girly thoughts for C. I'm worried she might be a he based on head markings, which means I'd need to hunt down a female chick. But I don't know how accurate the head marking thing is anyway. I couldn't make heads or tails of 22's markings, really. I thought his looked kind of girly.

We're also worried about Phase II. in other words, how will Tutu & Baby Gosling feel about Baby Cee. (biting nails) Will someone be alone now or the third wheel? (biting nails)

I'm sure he'd let me measure him if I wanted, lol. He's a very calm little bird. I say little but he's not really that little any more!

As for the introductions, they won't be happening for at least a few days until C is actually up and walking, just in case. Gosling will probably get moved out of the brooder and down to live with the chicks instead of the emus, since he is now very big and very messy and mucks up the brooder pretty quick with all his poop. Growing geese poop SO much it's not funny, and you can't really use shavings with baby emus so it's a mess.
