They don't, unfortunately, make anything like that for emus. I could try to adapt a harness for other animals, but the harness might just freak him out more and end up with him jumping and kicking around trying to get away from it.

Ouch! I remember when I was very young someone nearby had emus and they must've escaped and as the school bus went by I saw them foraging in a field. My parents never did believe me...

Yep, it was his claws. You can see three shredded lines, one for each claw on his foot.

He's getting less skittish. He thought about eating out of my hand today when I was handfeeding Ciara a treat. Didn't actually do it, but came over and definitely was considering it.

They do occasionally still do zoomies! Not as much as when they were babies though, haha.
