So I posted an ad for chicks online, just to get a ballpark idea of how many eggs I want to set this year. I also offered eggs for sale.

Got an email this morning and we were going back and forth and he was asking price and whatnot, then came out with this gem:

"And if I want a chick I have to wait till they hatch?"

Like...

???

No, I can totally get you a chick before the eggs hatch, sure. I sent an email back asking if he meant did he need to wait to pay. Really hoping that's what he meant, lol.

What is the going rate for chicks and/ or eggs

I haven't posted in here in a bit, my bad! It's breeding season and eggs are going Already hatched and sold five chicks this year. Got more due at the end of this month, and then more due on Easter.

Some of the Easter eggs could be white or blonde! So I've got my fingers crossed on those.

I must have missed it! I'll go look. I end up doing a lot of PMs for winners of the contests I host and things can get lost, sorry about that.

That one is off to his new home. This year I would probably only keep blondes or whites. I DO have some eggs in from my friend Tom who is cutting back on emus and only has a couple pairs as pets, now. His one pair is actually directly from Mexico, so I may keep a chick from those eggs, just for the unique bloodline.
