Pyxis inspired me and I'm attempting Emu eggs!

I know, that's what I was saying. If we had gotten another male then it would have been perfect. If I come across a male chick then I'll snatch him up as it's better to keep and even number of male to female and right now I am keeping two females and the one male. Just too attached already to wanna rehome 3.
 
Do they just naturally pair up better and males get along better than excess roosters, drakes, ganders, etc? Or is it the females that cause problems if not enough males?

I was sad that I only had one female parakeet and 2 males, but found out more females fight, so my trio is actually better...
 
They have finally started having all day access outside and are picking at greens that are growing. They get big so fast.
