Pyxis inspired me and I'm attempting Emu eggs!

Pics
Getting close to the 50 day mark for all three eggs. They are due Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, lol. Lots of wiggling from all three to the point they turn themselves in the incubator. No chirping yet but as soon as I get some sound I will let y'all know.

Getting close now! :pop

Oh and update on the two emu chicks I purchased. Doing great! They have been introduced to a couple new friends to help keep them company and keep them warmer at night under the heat lamp. They were moved to the barn today. Little buggers are messy and hard to contain in the house! They will temporarily be staying with my blue cream Silkie breeding pair. The rooster tries to feed them like baby chickens. Go adopted DADDY!!

Yes it is cause the emu pick at everything. This morning they saw some 5 day old silkies. They picked at them but didnt hurt them. Want to expose them to everything so they know what's safe and what they shouldn't kill. The chickens seem to have accepted them right off the bat. Usually they scream and carry on over something new.
